We waited and waited, seeing several patients go in ahead of us. At 2:15 pm, I asked how much longer it would be and explained that I had to pick up my children at 3:15 pm in a town 45 minutes away. I was told it wouldn't be long.
At 2:30 pm, my mother inquired again as to how much longer it would be. She was told she was second to next. The staff was not at all concerned that we had been waiting over an hour already. I couldn't wait any longer and we left in disgust without my mother's toes being taken care of. She will have to endure more days of pain until I can make an appointment with another podiatrist.
I can not speak to Dr. Mauser's competence as we never got to see him, but anyone that can have such disrespect for his patients in the waiting room can not truly be concerned for their welfare.
I rearranged my schedule so I could take my 91 year-old mother to see Dr. Mauser in Carrollton. We were asked to arrive at 1:15 pm for a 1:30 pm appointment in order to fill out the paperwork. We arrived at 1:05 pm. It is a shared office and his office staff was not in yet. The ladies that were there started a sign-in sheet for them, but did not have the paperwork for us to start - that was coming with Dr. Mauser's staff. My mother was the second name on sign-in sheet. Dr. Mauser's staff sauntered in at about 1:25 pm and it was at least another 10 minutes until we were given the paper work to fill out, but only after asking for it.
