I felt like the guide had no respect for items/history of this precious piece of history. Didn't know the exact facts and did alot of assuming of things from that era. Even some of the facts that she told where not correct. She added things to the areas and stated I don't know if the owners like it but I like it better like that.... We want to see things as depicted in that era.. Not what she wants to see (main dining room). She would pick up the precious pieces of history and say "I'm not suppose to do that but I don't care". She then says "they say that is a piece of history but don't you think that was just bought at the dollar store". Then my nephew goes to walk out to the outside kitchen and guide said "don't you think you have enough holes". Making reference to his percieing. I replied " what difference does it make if he likes it". It's a shame that beautiful history is guided with such lack of respect for the dead and history.
I joined KY Paranormal to lead investigations of this haunted historic home 2 weekends in a row. There was amazing interaction between the ghosts and ourselves. We used a K2 meter, a mag lite, and a RedPod to talk with the ghosts. The picture of the scratch on Jeff's back was made by Thomas, the ghost. We also talked to friendlier ghosts, Elena, Mary Ellen, and Lizzie. There was a little boy ghost up in the attic we also talked with. I got a few pictures and FLIR videos that will inspire your imagination!
